A Deconstructed Arrangement

I have words I’ve arranged
With only you in mind.
Carefully curated,
Featuring only the sweetest fruit
From the garden of my mind:
The reddest strawberries,
The most delicate blueberries,
And oranges,
I already peeled for you.

Is it worthy of you?
I can only pray,
I've only bore bruised fruit before.
Can you taste my labors?
Each one, so tenderly cared for,
My expression of love to you.
The clouds smother the sun,
But I hope my light still reaches you
The way yours reached my garden.

This is as mine as it is yours.
