The lone shrieks From the little space between the floor and the door Claws of darkness spill out Form a cage of blood and bone around you It isn’t here, where did it go? The cage is getting tighter The claws don’t allow for a speck of light Until all becomes crimson dark And you’re curled up, your knees to your chest Heavy breaths Is this good air or do I reject it? It’s always enough until it’s never enough Isn’t hope the little fairy that helps you fly? Give me away Swells of abyss lurching -k.r.r.
